What is 10 days for $20 or 30 days for $39?

10 days for $20 is introductory offer for new yoga students trying our studio for the first time. For only $20, you can try out unlimited yoga classes at our studio for 10 consecutive days! That’s right, 10 entire days of classes! Most studios have a drop-in rate near $20 for one class, so this is a great deal to take as many classes as you can for just the single rate! At the end of the 10 days period, you’ll have a chance to buy a full class package for 10% off the regular price. This option is also available for 30 days at $39. Please show up 10-15 minutes early to fill out some information, this offer is only available in house. We offer Manduka ProLite mats and towels complimentary if you need to borrow. How do I get started?

Find a class that works for you by checking out our class schedule or download our free mobile device by searching TULIVESI YOGA from your app store. Plan to show up 10-15 minutes early to fill out some information. Bring a water bottle, mat, towel and wear comfortable clothing. No mat? No problem. We’ve got you covered. Feel free to borrow one of our Manduka ProLite mats and towels free of charge.

Is yoga for me? I’m new, what class can I come to?

Of course! Yoga is for EVERY BODY. Our classes are designed for all levels with modification options whether it is your first or 50th class. We ask that you show up willing to embrace the challenge! You will be surprised how your energy level and body changes. For class descriptions, click here.

What if I’m not flexible?

Then you are in the right place! Over years our bodies adapt to daily activities from working at a desk to repetitive sports. Yoga uses all planes of motion to keep our bodies fluidly moving and strengthens the joint supporting muscles therefore decreasing risks for injury.

Is it hot yoga?

This depends on your definition of “hot”. Traditional hot yoga such as Bikram Yoga and its derivatives, is practiced at 105 F. Our heated studio averages 80-90 F: warm enough that your muscles can relax and stretch safely allowing you to sweat and detox. Listening to your body is essential, we recommend you bring water to stay hydrated and take rests as needed throughout class.

Will I sweat? What’s up with those heating panels?

YES! The combination of warmth in the room and and the physicality of the practice will allow you to sweat. Step out of your comfort zone and feel the benefits. We use green environmentally friendly infrared source of heat that feels like the natural sunshine as opposed to warm air around you. Come feel the therapeutic benefits of decreased joint pain, increased blood circulation, and rid the body of toxins.

What should I wear to class?

Clean and preferably moisture-wicking attire that you can easily move in. Heat and sweat do not mix well with heavy scented perfumes, try to leave those at home! We also sell great attire for heated yoga by Onzie to keep you comfortable.

Should I eat before class?

Proper hydration and a light snack an hour or two before class is our recommendation for a comfortable practice.

What about hydration?

Hydration is essential. Staying hydrated prior to and after class is very important. You are welcome to bring a water bottle and fill up at the studio, or we have bottled water and electrolye beverages for purchase. Powdered electrolytes are a great way to replenish and keep hydrated.

What else should I expect?

We ask that you leave all of your belongings in cubbies outside of the studio. We practice silence and meditation in the studio; please be respectful to others and finish up your conversations with fellow classmates and teachers before entering the studio space. Feel free to use the trigger point balls and foam rollers before class starts.

Is there childcare?

Unfortunately, we do not provide childcare. Students must be over age 13 to attend heated classes at TULIVESI Yoga. We do encourage you to bond in our Parent/Child classes and our Budding Warriors Summer Kids Programs!
