“I took my first yoga class when I was 23 years-old at a retreat center outside of Portland, Oregon. I never turned back and have been studying and practicing yoga ever since. I began teaching yoga 17 years ago when many of my teachers in the community either left or stopped teaching. I have taken yoga classes from many other teachers throughout my travels and have studied Vinyasayoga as a part of my practice and learning. I am excited to be a part of the TULIVESI Yoga community and share my ongoing love of teaching, studying and practicing yoga. I am currently focusing on developing Vinyasa sequences that are fun, safe and exploratory while ensuring good alignment and use of props to assist students in going deeper into poses. I embrace the concept of meditation in movement and delights in witnessing students find that capacity within themselves. I fully believes
that yoga is for ‘every body’ and welcomes all to come share in the true joy of yoga.”
Training: Studied under senior and intermediate Iyengar teachers Mary Reilly in Petoskey, Michigan, Laura Almeni, in Boulder, Colorado, Craig Kurtz in Denver, Colorado, and Jennifer Weinert in Hilo, Hawaii and Patricia Walden at a Midwest Regional Iyengar Yoga Conference.
