Jennifer Taylor

Jennifer discovered yoga as a means to balance both the mental and physical demands that come from working as a registered nurse in a busy trauma ICU. She knew she found her passion as soon she walked into Dallas’ Uptown Yoga. The benefits were clear as she saw herself strengthen, grow, and feel grounded. Each practice offered a new and welcomed challenge, and the stressors of everyday life became manageable. Jennifer began her 200-hour training under Jennifer Chitwood and Maria Barone in the studio that first exposed her to yoga’s expansive possibilities, and completed her next 200-hour training under Baron Baptiste and the Baptiste Institute. She expanded her passion for the water and yoga and completed Stand-Up Paddleboard Certification in San Diego with Gillian Gibree. Jennifer continues to find yoga the perfect balance to an active lifestyle that includes kiteboarding, paddleboarding, snowboarding, hiking, and enjoying life over cocktails with friends. Jennifer is a former mentor for Africa Yoga Project.
